Visit Bridge of Cally and the surrounding villages and stay in bed & breakfast accommodation:
Bridge of Cally, Perth and Kinross. This is but a township at the meeting of roads from Glenshee and Strath Ardle. The Blackwater flows into the River Ardle in a deep hollow nearby. To the West lies the Clunie Forest, to the East the Forest of Alyth. This is one of the mountain and winter-sport resorts most accessible to Edinburgh and the South East of Scotland. It is not the only “gateway to the Highlands”, but it makes a particularly pleasing one.
