Visit Lochranza and the surrounding villages and stay in bed & breakfast accommodation:
Lochranza, North Ayrshire, is a village on the Isle of Arran. Standing at the head of a sea-inlet at the tip of the island, Lochranza is, after the three main townships on the East coast of Arran, the favourite of island visitors. It has a pier at which steamers from the mainland regularly call. A 14th century, hall-ruined castle is amongst the places on Arran in which Bruce stayed on his return to Scotland from Rathlin at the beginning of his campaign.
