Visit Penryn and the surrounding villages and stay in bed & breakfast accommodation:
Penryn, Cornwall, 2 miles North West, was a prosperous little town before Falmouth was conceived. Some 1½ miles West at Mabe are important granite quarries. It tends to be ignored by visitors, unjustly, and has a compact, attractive centre with good granite, slate-hung houses. About ½ mile West is the grounds of Tremough, a convent school.
