Visit Ditchling and the surrounding villages and stay in bed & breakfast accommodation:
Ditchling, East Sussex. The 813 ft Ditchling Beacon is one of the highest points on the South Downs. A walker will enjoy the best views, for although a narrow road runs from Wick Farms Westmeston, almost to the summit and down the other side to Brighton, a motorist will be too busy watching the difficult road to enjoy the scenery. The village of Ditchling, 2½ miles north, has a 6th century house given by Henry VIII to Anne of Cleves.
