The Grand does not provide standard rooms but is designed to offer a mixture of double,twin,triple, family and single rooms depending upon the individual needs of our guests. Each en suite room has complimentary tea and coffee making ,flatscreen freeview tv/dvd player.Luxury rooms have balconies overlooking the English Channel from Hastings Country Park and pier to the east with a panoramic vista right round past the Royal Sovereign Lightplatform to the white cliffs of Beachy Head and the start of the South Downs Way to the west.The sea sunrises and sea sunsets which cannot be seen from back streets are glorious.There's a piano or two,the " History " restaurant designed by The Hotel Inspector and Ruth Watson's team,a lounge bar for meetings informal or otherwise,overlooking the promenade,and modern strong wifi throughout this historic 1832 building.We accept major credit cards,euros but no pets except guide dogs and well trained husbands.We are an ideal base to explore all the attractions of Hastings-it's RNLI station,Smugglers Caves,3 museums,cinemas,World Crazy Golf Championship course,theatres,clubs,Priory Meadow Shopping Centre and the flourishing antique shops of St leonards.Nearby in 1066 Country we have Battle Abbey,Hever castle,Bodiam castle,Great Dixter and Pashley Manor gardens,Batemans,the cinque port of Rye and the Romney Marshes.Brighton with the Royal Pavilion and Dover with the castle and ferries to Europe are a short distance away.Fast road rail links take you to London Gatwick,Ashford M20 and Eurostar/Tunnel,Sevenoaks(M25) and London Bridge or London Victoria stations.
