Old Church Cottages are set inside a low stone-walled garden with secret corners between Heavenfield and Paradise (these are both places you can visit) we are two miles from Hadrian’s Wall and seven from Hexham.
The lovely hundred-year-old church has been divided to make two welcoming holiday cottages. All three cottages are heated by oil.
Kirkend, which sleeps up to 5, has a double and a twin bedroom upstairs, and a sleeping gallery with a single bed. Downstairs is a large living room and a spacious well-equipped kitchen and bathroom with bath and walk-in shower. The French doors lead out to your parking space and the garden with shrubs, lawn and ponds beyond.
Lonnenend sleeps 4 in a double and twin bedroom, the shower room is also upstairs.
Downstairs the original pulpit from church divides the living room from the well- equipped kitchen. Outside are your parking space and a flower garden with a seating area.
The Stable, which originally stabled six horses, is divided into a sleeping area (double bed) and living area with views from its French doors towards picturesque Chollerton Farm and the Erring Valley.
