Visit Coleshill and the surrounding villages and stay in bed & breakfast accommodation:
Coleshill, Warwickshire. As its name implies, this pretty town stands on the side of a steep hill above the River Cole, which is crossed there by a five—arched medieval bridge. Near the church, which has a 14th century tower, are the pillory, village stocks and a whipping-post. Maxstoke Castle, 2 miles east, is a 14th century building in red sandstone, with a great hall built by the Earl of Huntingdon in 1345.
