Visit Llanegryn and the surrounding villages and stay in bed & breakfast accommodation:
Llanegryn, Gwynedd, lies South West of Dolgellau towards the sea along the run of the Dysynni river. It is most noteworthy for the church, and its remarkable cruck roof of timber, its rood-loft of the most dexterous carving, and its font. In the centre of the village is a monument to Hugh Owen, a minister ejected in 1662 on points of religious principle. The font is in the Norman style that lasted to the 12th century, and its rood-loft is said to have been brought from Cymer Abbey near Dolgellau.
