Visit Tillicoultry and the surrounding villages and stay in bed & breakfast accommodation:
Tillicoultry, Clackmannanshire. This pawkily-named town lies at the foot of the Ochils between Alva and Dollar. Like its neighbours, it has the attraction of a pleasant glen running back into the hills — the glen path here leads to the ascent of Ben Cleuch, 2,363 ft. the highest of the Ochils. The remains of an ancient circular fort can be seen on Castle Craig in the Mill Glen; legend has it that those mysterious warriors, the Picts, had a fortification here. It is also alleged that at Tillicoultry St Serf performed miraculous deeds and cures.
